G G PAYNE RESERVE PARK

Public BBQ

Dennington is a delightful retreat offering a blend of heritage and natural charm. Nestled along the river, it's an ideal place for leisurely activities such as walking dogs, with a welcoming atmosphere for them to take a refreshing swim. Its green park exudes tranquillity, well-maintained and featuring a large playground for children. The locals are diverse and incredibly talented, adding to the appeal of the area. The park boasts a clean, well-kept rest area, public toilets, and a water spot. Not far from the park, a private house hosts a remarkable cactus garden, a sight to behold. A basketball ring sits conveniently next to the toilets. The spot also offers a splendid view across the river, picnic tables, a shelter, and an undercover area for BBQ. Despite the occasional cleanliness concern, it remains a tranquil place for relaxation and social gatherings.
